Hey My friend and I are on a horse volentes housing (profit) during the summer.
Note: We are 15 years old. (And our parents might not want to take.)
Most ideal cities of Ventura, Moorpark, Simi Valley, Los Angeles, Oiji (pernounces Oh, hello) or in the vicinity.
If you could add a site would be most appreicated.

HRM does not believe that Simi has a part of the equine animal shelter, but I know Agoura some obstacles arose.
The shelter in Camarillo (more on the airport) has mainly dogs and cats. But it could be something to Ojai ... might also want to examine whether these human society. Here is the link to your page:

Although not a shelter, try if you want to spend the summer around the horse, and something that makes a difference to do, contact with walks. It is a disadvantage for non-profit riding program (I believe they are in the area of Topanga Canyon). My employer has provided horses for them available and they run a great program.
